A bit breezy.

Well. That was interesting.

Despite the storm, C and I decided to go to a craft and antique fair last night. Not bad—still a good crowd, but nowhere near as terrifying as the two-for-one admission would normally net. I did a (very tiny) bit of Christmas shopping, found some gorgeous vintage beads, and walked away feeling very inspired.

Came home and settled in to listen to the wind. And the rain. And, on the whole, things didn’t go too terribly. I’m not one of the 150,000 or so in the province without power, obviously. (Did lose power for a while overnight, but only for an hour or so.) Barely slept at all for the noise, but I’ve weathered worse.

Haven’t managed to work on my novel all weekend. No worries, though. I can make it up.

1000 Days : Day 600

Of the past one hundred days, I’ve spent nearly eighty living out of boxes and suitcases. I spent November with limited internet access and no phone connectivity. I can’t count of the days lost to packing, and moving, and unpacking. I’m still not properly settled.

Unsettled

You’ve probably figured out by now that I’ve moved. Or, I’m in the process of moving—I’m in the new apartment, but aside from the barest necessities, I don’t actually have any of my stuff here. (It’s a long and boring story.)
